Hope everyone has had a great week so far! I’ve been doing pretty well this week, staying mostly on track. I also have been getting a lot of steps in since the weather has been so nice! My kids have loved playing outside every day and I’m definitely worn out by the end of the night!
So this week I haven’t tried a lot of new foods, but I did try something new with a food that I have had in the past. I love the Ole Mexican Xtreme Wellness High Fiber Low Carb tortillas. They are 1sp each and are great for making enchiladas, burritos, wraps, etc.
I also found out this week that they are excellent for making homemade tortilla chips! I made chicken nachos on Tuesday night and made the tortilla chips in my air fryer and they were delicious! I cut each tortilla in 8 triangles and sprayed them with cooking spray and put about 16 of them in the air fryer at a time at 400 degrees for about 5-6 minutes. I shook the basket a couple of times throughout to make sure that they cooked evenly and they were great!
A product that I tried this week that we hadn’t had before was the Oscar Mayer Lean Beef Hotdogs.
These hotdogs are 2sp each or 3sp for 2. I’m not quite sure of why that is, but that’s just how Weight Watchers math works sometimes I guess haha. But they were pretty good. We grilled them and put them on the Sara Lee 80 calorie wheat hotdog buns that are 2sp each or 5sp for 2. Again, the Weight Watchers math.
So that is all I have tried new this week, and hope you all have a great weekend!
