So it rained Friday night and Saturday morning so my husband wasn’t going to be planting in the field yesterday, so we decided to go out of the town to run a few errands. We had some kitchen hardware that we had to return so we figured yesterday would be a great day to do that. I told my husband that I wanted to stay on track and not go over my points and he was supportive of that. I had my protein coffee (2sp) in the morning before we left and when it was lunchtime we decided to stop at McDonald’s for lunch.
I ordered an Artisan Grilled Chicken sandwich (8sp) and 2 orders of apple slices (0sp). I also ate 3 of my son’s chicken nuggets (4sp). We ate lunch and then finished our shopping. Since we got done in the afternoon we decided to just head home and eat supper at home. I had gotten some Chick-fil-a wraps to have for lunches and I decided to have a wrap (7sp) for supper and make my own homemade Avocado Lime Ranch dressing (2sp).
I didn’t snack on anything before bed and I actually had one point left over. So I’m really proud of myself for staying on track even while we were out of town. I just made things work and I feel great about my choices. So that is a huge NSV (non-scale victory) for me this week.
I plan to stay on track today and I am also going to go join our local rec center so I can start working out regularly. I have a sitter for my daughter lined up so I can go work out Mon-Fri while my son is at school. I’m really excited to start a good exercise routine because I think it will help boost my weight loss a lot and help me feel much stronger and healthier!
